British Paints Good Job Guarantee
British Paints offers a "Good Job Guarantee". If you're dissatisfied with your painting result due to issues like lap marks, roller marks, dissatisfaction with colour, uneven or inadequate coverage, they will replace your paint and provide you with support and advice. To claim this guarantee, you must have purchased the British Paints product within the last 3 months, followed the required instructions, and have not made a claim under this Guarantee within the last 12 months. The guarantee only applies to residential applications by non-professionals.
Terms & Conditions, "British Paints Guarantee"
If you make a mistake & are dissatisfied with your painting result, we will replace your paint and support you with the help and advice you need to nail that painting project - all free of charge. Your problem might be lap marks, roller marks, dissatisfaction with colour, uneven or inadequate coverage. The start date of the offer is the 19th July 2021. This guarantee may be discontinued by British Paints at any time. To claim you must have purchased the British Paints product within the last 3 months, followed the required instructions and have not made a claim under this Guarantee within the last 12 months. Claims are limited to 40 litres of paint. Paint must be collected within 1 month of notification, otherwise it will be forfeited.
The guarantee only applies to residential applications by non-professionals.
British Paints Professional products are not included in this guarantee. To make a claim, please contact British Paints Australia using the Good Job Guarantee webform. You must provide proof of purchase and a photo of your painting concern. This guarantee does not cover paint failure caused by any breakdown of the substrate or coatings applied previously, or where British Paints is applied over substrates or coatings not specified as suitable on the can. The benefits of this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies under any applicable law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Haymes Paints
While Haymes Paint does not appear to offer a clear satisfaction guarantee on their website, they do mention a warranty for defects arising solely from faulty materials or workmanship, with the condition that the goods have not received maltreatment. It is recommended to check with the retailer or the company directly for more specific details about their warranty or guarantee policy

Except as stated in any separate written warranty we may provide you with the goods or a quote, under no circumstances will we have any liability to replace or repair defects in the goods where: (a) the defects have not arisen solely from faulty materials or workmanship; (b) the goods have received maltreatment, inattention or interference or have been used, applied, packaged or stored other than in accordance with our instructions and recommendations; (c) products not manufactured by or approved by us have been used with the goods. 19. Except as provided in these conditions, all express and implied warranties guarantees and conditions under statute or general law as to merchantability, description, quality, suitability or fitness of the goods for any purpose or as to design, installation, materials or workmanship or otherwise are expressly excluded. We are not liable for physical or financial injury, loss or damage or for consequential loss or damage of any kind arising out of the application, supply, installation or operation of the goods or arising out of our negligence or in any way whatsoever. 20. If any condition or warranty is implied into this agreement under the Australian Consumer Law or any equivalent State or Territory legislation and cannot be excluded, then our liability is limited to one or more of the following: (a) in the case of goods, the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods, the repair of the goods, the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods, or the payment of the cost of having the goods repaired; (b) in the case of services, the supplying of the services again, or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
Taubmans Paints
The terms and conditions for Taubmans products are centered around several key guarantees depending on the specific type of product:
Lifetime Guarantee
Taubmans Endure Interior and Taubmans All Weather Exterior are guaranteed against blistering, flaking, or peeling if applied on suitable and properly prepared surfaces according to printed directions. This guarantee applies to the owner of the house/property to which the paint has been applied for as long as they own the property. However, this guarantee does not cover paint failure caused by factors beyond Taubmans' control, such as environmental factors or incorrect application. If the guarantee is not met, Taubmans will replace the paint or refund your money. However, they are not liable for the cost of labor or any other direct or indirect loss or damage arising from a breach of this guarantee.
25 Year Guarantee
SunProof Exterior is guaranteed under similar conditions as the Lifetime Guarantee and applies as long as the owner owns and lives in the house/property. Proof of purchase is required for this guarantee. This guarantee only applies to residential properties within Australia.
10 And 12 Year Guarantee:
This applies to certain Taubmans paints that are supported by a 10 or 12 year guarantee. The conditions are similar to those of the Lifetime Guarantee and 25 Year Guarantee.
7 Year Guarantee
Taubmans Easycoat Kitchen & Bathroom Paint is guaranteed to resist mould growth caused by airborne spores for 7 years if used in accordance with printed directions and applied to suitable and properly prepared surfaces. This guarantee does not cover mould growth from contaminated substrates or mould problems caused by environmental or underlying structural issues (e.g. localised high humidity, areas of low ventilation, structural damp or water ingress due to leaks), or paint failure caused by other factors beyond Taubmans' control1.
Claiming these guarantees
Customers must write to Taubmans or call their Customer Service number to request a claim form. Customers are responsible for all costs of claiming under these guarantees. These guarantees are in addition to other rights and remedies under Australian law, which cannot be excluded and include the right to a replacement or refund for a major failure.
